Zoom In Tool
|

The Zoom In Tool will zoom in and center the map where the mouse is clicked.
Users can also click and drag to create a custom zoom box with the Zoom In Tool.

Zoom Out Tool
|
|
The Zoom Out Tool will zoom out and center the map where the mouse is clicked.
|
|
|
|
Hand Pan Tool
|
|
The Hand Pan Tool will allow users to drag and drop the map using the mouse to allow for fast, custom panning.
|
|
|
|
Center Tool
|
|
The Center Tool will recenter the map where the mouse is clicked which can be used to fine tune the map extent.
|
|
|
|
Select Tool *
|
|
The Select Tool will select a point, line, polygon or circle.
Users can edit or move an existing shape or drawing with this tool.
|
|
|
|
Add Point Tool *
|
|
The Add Point Tool will add a new point to an existing shape.
Users can then edit or move the new point with the Select Tool.
|
|
|
|
Line Tool *
|
|
The Line Tool will draw and measure a straight line.
User can measure the linear distance in both feet and miles.
|
|
|
|
Polygon Tool *
|
|
The Polygon Tool will draw and measure the area of any shape.
User can measure area in both acres and square feet.
This tool is useful for drawing property boundaries.

|
|
|
Circle Tool *
|
|
The Circle Tool will draw and measure circular shapes.
Users can adjust the size as well as subtract parcels of the circle.
This tool is useful for drawing center pivot irrigation systems.

|
|
Subtractive Tool *
|
|
The Subtractive Tool is very similar to the Polygon Tool and will draw and measure the area of any shape.
The Subtractive Tool will add negative measurements, therefore subtracting for the total, when drawing.
This is useful for drawing out parcels for large real estate properties.

|
|
Pencil Tool *
|
|
The Pencil Tool is very similar to the Line Tool and will draw and measure lines and distances.
The Pencil Tool is a free hand drawing tool and is useful for tracing trails and routes.

|
|
Special Tools *
|
|
The Special Tools include the Latitude/Longitude Tool and the Metes & Bounds Tool.
|
|
|
|
|
Latitude/Longitude Tool *
|
|
|
The Latitude/Longitude Tool allows users to enter a series of latitude/longitude GPS point and will then automatically draw the shape in the viewer.
The Latitude/Longitude will also display the latitude/longitude coordinate points of a selected drawing from the viewer.

|
|
|
Metes & Bounds Tool *
|
|
|
The Metes & Bounds Tool allows users to enter a series of metes and bounds legal description consisting of a series of course and will then automatically draw the shape in the viewer.
The Metes & Bounds Tool will also convert a selected drawing from the viewer into a metes and bounds description.

|
|
|
Delete Tool *
|
|
The Delete Tool will remove a selected point or existing shape.
Users can also delete shapes by selecting the feature and hitting the Delete key on the keyboard.
|
|
|
|
Info Tool
|
|
The Info Tool will display selected information about the area in the center of the viewer.
The Info Tool can show current location information including county, zip code, elevation, USGS quad name, and UTM coordinates.
|
|
|
|
Weather Tool
|
|
The Weather Tool will display weather data provided by the National Weather Service about the area in the center of the viewer.
The Weather Tool shows current conditions including temperature, wind speed and humidity and provides a local 5 day forecast.
